Research Associate, CARBSE

Kartikay Sharma is a research assistant at Center for Advanced Research Building Science and Energy (CARBSE) CEPT University. He completed his Post Graduation in M. Tech in Building Energy Performance from CEPT University and holds Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil from GTU, Gujarat. His over-all goal is to become key individual to promote and execute energy efficiency drivers for the nation. As part of the studies he conducted a research on "India's Path to low carbon building stock: Estimating energy savings potential for commercial building stock". During his masters he has also extensively learned Building energy simulation software, building physics, macro-level energy efficiency and extensive data-analysis. His current area of interests includes macro-level Energy policy, building energy stock modelling, optimization of energy simulation work-flow using different simulation software, developing excel/macro based tools for energy analysis, data visualization, Passive design optimization, whole building design, affordable energy conservation measures for mass housing, Demand-response for peak load management and smart-metering.
