Vijaya is a Research Fellow at CUPP. She is part of the team working on Sustainable Urban Development – Smart Cities project under GIZ grant. Vijaya’s involvement has been in development of national case-study material and training modules. She is also involved with assisting on-going research through data collection, stakeholder consultations, analysis, and compilation.

Vijaya has completed her Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from CEPT University. As part of her postgraduate Directed Research Project (DRP), she worked on the mid-course assessment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) and provision of necessary recommendations in 4 major cities in Gujarat. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and  worked as an Architect in the past.
