Operations Manager – CEPT Research and Development Foundation

Role: 

Assist the Operations Director  with:- 

  • Review/ Approval of Bids/ EOIs
  • Work with Centers on preparation of proposals
  • Financial monitoring of projects
  • Regular meetings/ networking with clients and donors as required
  • Deputising for the Operations Director in meetings with clients and centers

Responsibilities:   

  • Providing assistance to the Operations Director
  • Monitoring of projects under execution by Centers in terms of cost and schedule
  • Monitoring of bids and opportunities
  • Maintenance of quality and operational systems
  • Monitoring Centers’ and Project cash flow with advice from the Financial Controller, CRDF

Attributes:

  • Degree in Engineering or planning, preferably post graduate
  • More than 7 years of experience working with consultancy organisations
  • Highly computer literate, must have excellent competency in MS Office (Excel, Word , Power point)
  • Basic understanding of project costing and finance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of dealing with clients and sub-consultants

  • Smooth and predictable operations within CRDF 
  • Timely flagging of concerns on projects
  • Timely submission of bids
  • Consistent high quality of submissions by CRDF

Measures:    

  • Financial performance of CRDF overall 
  • Performance in terms of attracting grants and fees
  • Performance in terms of adhering to and improving operational systems

No. of Positions: 1

Accountable to: Operations Director, CRDF

Direct Reports: Project Managers, Assistant Managers

Other Stakeholders: Financial Controller, CRDF, HR Manager, CRDF & Center Executive Directors

Job Location: Ahmedabad (should be willing to travel)
