Mohit is an Urban Planner with eight years of experience in research, technical advisory and capacity building on integrated urban development. He manages the research grant portfolio in urban planning and climate space, focusing on data, policy and technology. At the Center for Urban Planning and Policy (CUPP), he undertakes research and knowledge management on spatial planning, land development, climate resilience, and digital transformation. Mohit has previously worked with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), Ernst & Young (EY) and Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER), Germany.
Mohit is a German Chancellor Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation and has authored six research papers on data-driven urban planning and systems perspective for capacity building. He is a travel enthusiast, and during his free time likes to play tennis and read Indian literature.
