Piyush has over 12 years of experience as a GIS professional. He is working as a Team Leader at CRDF, where he is involved in managing the Gati Shakti Gujarat project. Previously, he worked as Assistant Manager - GIS at Dholera Industrial City Development Limited. He applied geographic analysis and technologies for improved information management and decision support, including Land Use mapping, Land Cover Mapping, Urban Land Use Analysis, and spatial data management.

He has worked on various projects involving spatial analysis, geospatial application development, geospatial surveys, information technology, and more. His experience also includes teaching as a Studio Visiting Faculty - Co-Tutor at CEPT University, where he taught Geographic Information Science-Foundation Studio. His educational background includes an M.Sc. in Geomatics and Space Application from the Faculty of Geomatics and Space Application at CEPT University in India and an M.Sc. in Information Technology and Computer Application from Gujarat University. Additionally, he authored several publications, including papers on public participation in managing cultural heritage and facilitating funding for conservation through tradeable development rights.

He is passionate about using GIS and spatial analysis to provide solutions to complex problems, and I am always looking for new challenges in the field.
