Associate Urban Planner, CUPP
Aishwarya Makdani is an Architect and Urban Planner, currently serving as an Associate Urban Planner at CUPP. She holds a Masters in Urban Planning degree from CEPT University. Her focus is on Spatial Planning and Policy Formulation, driven by a commitment to developing innovative, context-responsive solutions that address evolving urban needs and well-informed planning frameworks.

Prior to joining CUPP, she was associated with HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt. Ltd., where she worked on a range of planning projects and developed experience in land use planning, spatial planning, data visualization and policy analysis & research. She also worked with NIRMA University as a Research Consultant for the Urban Planning Research Program. Additionally, during her Internship, she worked as Research Intern on a Report for the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, assessing the PMAY Scheme in collaboration with Mahila Housing Trust (MHT).

At CUPP, Aishwarya is involved in Spatial Planning Initiatives and Research-based Projects, with a strong interest in advancing Spatial Planning and Policy-driven Approaches that enable effective urban governance and long-term city development.
