Amal Shukla is an architect and urban planner with over 14 years of experience in the urban sector. With a diverse portfolio of work across various urban geographies, he has successfully led and delivered a wide spectrum of projects encompassing architecture, urban design, tourism, economic development, statutory planning (including Development Control Regulations), and Smart City assignments. His professional engagements span collaborations with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), state governments, and multilateral agencies.

He brings a nuanced understanding of the urban sector and aims to apply 'Urban Dynamics' as a powerful tool to visualise and shape sustainable built environments.

As Senior Urban Planner at CUPP, Amal is managing spatial planning and urban policy interventions in the domain of economic & industrial development, brownfield redevelopment, coastal development, and sustainable urban development.

In addition to his professional work, Amal is a passionate painter and sculptor, having won several awards in painting competitions. He has also shared his expertise in architectural design, art, and graphics as a visiting faculty member at Amity University, Noida, in 2015.
