Avni contributes a decade of interdisciplinary experience to the team with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from CEPT University and a Gold Medal in Master of Architecture (Urban Design).

She received the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) Scott Opler Membership Grant for Emerging Professionals in 2016 and is a Fellow at the Global Urban Development organization. Avni's primary research focus lies in climate change and built environment, spanning policy advocacy, urban design and building science across various scales.
