Geet is an Architect and Urban Planner with over six years of experience in urban policy formulation, spatial planning, and development regulations. His work focuses on strengthening planning systems and affordable housing strategies across various Indian states.
Geet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Chandigarh College of Architecture and a Master’s in Urban Planning from CEPT University (2020), grounding his work in a data-driven, context-sensitive approach.
At the CUPP, Geet has contributed to the preparation of Town Planning Schemes in Guwahati and Jaipur and led a detailed study on Floor Space Index (FSI) policies in Chennai. He played a key role in revising the Tamil Nadu Combined Building Rules and co-developed affordable housing toolkits for the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Geet also supported the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) in formulating a Land Pooling and Area Development Scheme and is currently engaged in projects across Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. His recent work includes preparing Enhanced Gram Panchayat Spatial Development Plans (GPSDP) for the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR).
He is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture and an Associate Member of the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI).
