Geethanjali is a transport planner at the Centre of Excellence in Urban Transport, CRDF. She is an architect and urban planner with over two years of experience. She holds a Master's degree in City Planning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
Geethanjali has been primarily involved in transport projects, including road safety assessments, developing low-emission zones in heritage cities with Junagadh as a case city, and the study of gendered mobility patterns for HMRTC. Her area of interest includes public transport, e-mobility and data analytics.
She has experience in research projects related to bus operations and e-mobility with City Future Lab (CFL), IIT Kharagpur and WRI India. At CFL, she was involved in developing an urban bus transit dispatch, control, and surveillance system using artificial intelligence and user perception.
