Girish Dravid, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, is a structural engineer with over 33 years of experience in designing complex buildings, with a focus on tall structures. As Director at Sterling Engineering Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., he leads work on structural systems including outriggers, damping mechanisms, and other high-performance frameworks.

His project experience spans India, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Muscat. He has contributed to a range of developments, including the Grand Chola Hotel, Palais Royale, ICICI Regional Headquarters, TSI Bar Building, Chepauk Cricket Stadium, and a convention and exhibition centre in Mumbai.

Since 2013, Girish has been serving as Chairman of CTBUH India, supporting initiatives related to tall buildings and urban habitat. His work reflects an ongoing engagement with innovation, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration across the structural engineering and construction sectors.
