Hemangi Dalwadi is a Transport Specialist at the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport, CRDF, with more than thirteen years of experience. She is an architect and transport planner with competence in the area of strategic transport planning and transport modelling.
Her work experience includes a wide range of projects such as comprehensive mobility plans, travel demand modelling, Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for public transport systems, E-bus operations plans, depot designs, junction designs, macro and microsimulation models, etc. for Indian cities.
Her publication includes a travel demand modelling toolkit and Service Level Benchmarking (SLB) for urban transport, MoHUA prepared for Indian cities. She has also gained proficiency in this field through various research works focused on urban structure and travel patterns, strategies for integrated mobility plans, cost-benefit analysis, and census data analysis.
Currently, she also holds the position as a visiting faculty member at CEPT University, providing mentorship to master's students in the faculty of planning, contributing to studio works and thesis/DRP projects, as well as offering an elective course on transport modelling.
