Krusha Desai is an Architect and Urban Planner currently working as an Associate Urban Planner at CUPP. She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from CEPT University, where she gained experience in spatial planning and urban policy through projects such as the Surat Master Plan and Town Planning Schemes in Navsari. These experiences helped her develop a strong foundation in spatial planning and urban development practices.
Her master's thesis at CUPP focused on documenting and assessing the preparation process for Preliminary Land Pooling Schemes under the RLPS Act, 2016, and proposing strategic recommendations to enhance their implementation. During her internship at CUPP, she worked on industrial suitability assessments for non-notified Special Investment Regions (SIRs) and identified potential locations to support future industrial growth. She also contributed to the preparation of Urban Design Guidelines, with a focus on strengthening urban character and enhancing public spaces.
At CUPP, Krusha works on urban planning projects in spatial planning, master planning and policy implementation. Her work focuses on developing solutions that promote sustainable and inclusive urban development.
