Manali Tale is an architect and planner with a specialization in environmental planning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, and a Master’s degree in Environmental Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi. Her academic and professional interests lie in climate-responsive urban planning, urban environmental systems, sustainability-led planning, and green buildings.

She has research and professional experience with government institutions, research organisations, and non-profits including the Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board (MPHIDB), Urban Innovation Lab, Janagraaha, the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), and A&S Associates. Her work spans urban re-densification, environmental governance, ESG reporting, and sustainability-focused planning and design, including contributions to policy and research reports.

She holds certifications as an IGBC Accredited Professional and GRIHA Certified Professional, along with advanced coursework in ESG & Climate Change, Life Cycle Assessment, and Circular Economy. She is currently associated with CUPP, CRDF, contributing to research, spatial planning, and stakeholder engagement with the Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) for the Bhopal Metropolitan Region (BMR) project.
