Mitesh Raval is a GIS Analyst at the Centre of Excellence in Urban Transport, CRDF. He is a Civil Engineer with one year of experience and holds a Master’s Degree in Geomatics from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India.
Currently, Mitesh has been involved in PM e-Bus Sewa and CM-Urban Bus Scheme projects, as a GIS Analyst. Additionally, He has been part of the High Volume Transport (HVT) project and has assisted the team with his specialization in Geospatial Data creation, acquisition and management. While he is mainly working with vector datasets during these projects, he is also sound with raster data processing, management, and network analysis.
His master's thesis was mainly focused on 'Radar Echo Characterization from Lunar Landing Site', which was pursued under the guidance of Dr Shiv Mohan, Ex Project Director ISRO/RISAT-UP. After completing his M.Tech, Mitesh worked as a Junior Software Associate at Softtech Engineering Limited, Pune, India, where he was primarily involved with the Business Analysis and Development Team.
