Associate Urban Planner, CUPP

Pavithra is an urban planner and architect with a strong focus on sustainable development and public policy. She holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from CEPT University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development from IGNOU, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University of Calicut.

Her experience spans consultancy, academia, and research, with expertise in capacity development, risk-informed planning, spatial strategies, development plans, town planning schemes, and urban resilience. She previously worked as an urban consultant with CRISIL Ltd. in Kerala, contributing to various urban development initiatives.

Pavithra currently serves as an Associate Urban Planner with the CUPP team, where she is involved in projects under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP) and in drafting policy recommendations for the Combined Hill Area Development and Building Rules in Tamil Nadu.
