Her work focuses on building durable systems that translate research and intent into scalable, on-ground outcomes.
Previously, Pritika spent nearly a decade at the IDFC Institute, including as Director and Research Fellow, where she led policy-relevant research across the pillars of urbanisation, jobs, and state capacity and governance. Her work combined political economy analysis with deep engagement on execution, producing actionable recommendations for government, regulators, and public institutions.
Earlier in her career, she was part of the IDFC Policy Advisory Group, advising the Government of India on infrastructure policy and regulatory frameworks across housing, water, sanitation, and rural development. She contributed to nationally influential research, including the India Infrastructure Report on Water, and led initiatives to surface innovative, replicable solutions to persistent infrastructure challenges.
Pritika has also worked as a consultant with the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, authoring position papers on housing policy for India’s first Urban Conference. She began her professional career at Charles River Associates in Washington DC and London, working in antitrust, international trade, and financial economics on high-stakes regulatory and litigation matters.
She brings over two decades of experience across research, policy advisory, and institutional leadership in India and international contexts.
