Ravikant Joshi is an urban governance and finance professional with a background in managing municipal systems and advising on reforms in city management and service delivery. After a long tenure at Vadodara Municipal Corporation, he transitioned into advisory work with CRISIL Risk and Infrastructure Solutions Ltd., contributing to urban projects across sectors.

He has worked with multilateral agencies including the World Bank, USAID, ADB, and DFID, focusing on urban finance, performance improvement, and institutional development. His assignments often involve system-level analysis and reform, particularly in property tax administration, budgeting, and public finance mechanisms for local bodies.

Ravikant is also involved in academic outreach as a visiting faculty at institutions such as NIUA, CEPT, ASCI, and the Indian School of Public Policy. His teaching and mentoring span urban project management, governance, and public finance. He has also held the position of Chair Professor in Urban Management, contributing to leadership development in the urban sector.
