Ruchi Singhal is a Transport Planner at the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT). She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat.
At CoE-UT, Ruchi has been involved in managing the Research Symposium for Urban Mobility Conference 2024, the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Greater Ahmedabad, the Electrification Strategy and Action Plan for Public Transport and Intermediate Public Transport in Indian Cities, and the development of the Public Transport Performance Index of Indian cities. Her responsibilities involve supervising surveys, analysing survey data, developing spreadsheet-based models, creating dissemination plans, and report writing. Additionally, she is involved in preparing technical proposals for bidding, managing social media for the center, and overseeing the Directed Research Project (DRP) work of the students.
Ruchi has also worked on research projects related to e-mobility with CUTS International, Jaipur, and has experience with zonal development plans for cities like Nagpur and Tonk in Rajasthan through her work with R-Tech Infra Associates, Jaipur.
