Santrupti Mahajan is a GIS Analyst at the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT) with one year of experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Geomatics, specialising in Spatial Science from CEPT University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Santrupti’s primary responsibilities include data collection, management, analysis, and spatial modeling, all aimed at supporting informed decision-making and problem-solving. She is currently involved in various projects, including Surat's e-mobility transition plan, PM e-Bus scheme, High Volume Transport (HVT) Planning, and low emission zones in Ahmedabad, AB Connect - Ahmedabad & electrifying the heritage city of Junagadh.
Her Master’s thesis, supported by the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), Delhi, focused on climate change and utilised advanced machine learning and GIS modeling to assess flood vulnerability and propose strategies to enhance livability and mitigate flood risks.
