Saumya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Haryana and a Master’s in Planning with a specialization in Urban Transport Systems from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. She has worked with architecture firms as well as urban research organizations, gaining diverse experience across design and planning disciplines.

She is currently working as a Transport Planner at the Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT), CRDF, where her work spans research, technical support, and policy advisory in urban mobility. With expertise in both architecture and transport planning, she is adept at using a range of planning and design tools and software. Her professional interests lie in land use–transport integration, active and public transport systems, and advancing equitable mobility.
