Yashi is currently working as a fellow architect for the Centre of Heritage Conservation (CHC). She has graduated from CEPT University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and aspires to be a Conservation Architect. Her work at CHC includes documenting the site, design, sampling, and a host of other processes involved in the day-to-day care and restoration of a site.

Her interests lie in preserving and protecting the existing, whether it is through built environments or archives. Besides conservation, she is passionate about philosophy, poetry, teaching, and learning.
