Strengthening Geospatial Capabilities: Workshop for Survey of India

The Centre for Applied Geomatics (CAG), CRDF successfully conducted a Skill Development Workshop for officials of the Gujarat, Daman & Diu Geo-Spatial Directorate, Survey of India. The program was designed to strengthen technical capacity in the effective use of geospatial technologies, in alignment with the objectives of the National Geospatial Policy 2022.

The workshop focused on enhancing participants’ advanced technical skills and practical understanding of geospatial tools and applications. Through interactive sessions and hands-on learning, officials gained deeper insights into leveraging geospatial technologies for improved implementation and governance outcomes.

CAG extends its appreciation to the Survey of India officials for their active engagement and enthusiastic participation. Such initiatives continue to contribute toward building robust institutional capabilities for advancing India’s geospatial ecosystem.
