GIS Solution Architect

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced GIS Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end geospatial solutions. This role involves leading the architecture of GIS platforms, integrating spatial databases, enterprise systems, and cloud environments, while ensuring scalability, performance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust GIS solution architectures leveraging Esri, open-source platforms, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Lead system integration with enterprise IT infrastructure, APIs, and databases (Postgres/PostGIS, SQL Server).
• Provide technical guidance to development teams on application design, data modeling, and advanced GIS solutions, including 3D visualization and real-time systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable geospatial solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, performance optimization, and industry best practices in GIS deployments.

Attributes:

• Master’s degree in Geomatics or a related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience as a GIS Architect or Senior GIS Developer.
• Expertise in ArcGIS, OpenLayers/Leaflet, cloud-based GIS, Python, .NET, and React.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, and spatial data management.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and leadership skills.
