The Center for Heritage Conservation invites you to the open lecture 'Conserving Historic Bridges' by Dr Sanjay Chikermane on Thursday, 29th February 2024, at 5.30 pm, CFP Basement, CEPT University.

Dr Sanjay Chikermane is an Assistant professor at IIT Roorkee. He is an expert in structural damage detection and has, in his long career, worked extensively on the health monitoring of historic bridges. In this lecture, he will present his observations on the larger concerns about conserving historic infrastructure, specifically focusing on India's railway bridges.
