Heritage Walk around traditional water systems in the historic city of Ahmedabad

On 22nd September, as part of the seminar 'Traditional Water Systems Of India: A Heritage For The Future', organised by Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University.
A heritage walk was also conducted by Zeus Pithawalla and Drashti Nakrani, to look at traditional water systems in the historic city of Ahmedabad.
The walk entailed visiting Mangaldas ni Haveli I and Amritvarshini Vav, covering two typologies of a tanka and a stepwell. After visiting the two sites, participants engaged in a discussion over refreshments and exchanged ideas on their understandings and interpretations of traditional water systems.
