Faculty of Architecture (FA), CEPT University and Center for Heritage Conservation (CHC), CRDF are pleased to invite everyone for the first session of the FA Lecture Series ‘Urban Heritage Futures: Reimagination for Regeneration’.
The first session, Mapping Counter Narratives, is scheduled on:
Date: 17 August 2022, Wednesday
Time: 5:30 to 7:00 PM (IST)
Cultural Mapping is integral to UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape. Inventories of heritage assets can easily become expert-led products of dominant narratives of cultural heritage. The process of mapping marginalised or under-represented narratives is a step towards equitable representation of heritage places. In this session, two cases of mapping efforts will be presented. Further details of the series and the speakers can be found in the poster attached in the email. The session can be attended through the CHC – CRDF YouTube page. Link to the YouTube Livestream
