Lecture by Anand Iyer on “World in a grain of sand”: Climate Change for Building Energy Performance organised by Centre for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy, CEPT University, Ahmedabad
The lecture aims to place Building Energy Performance in a larger context of Climate Change, by covering some basic concepts of Climate Science, Global Climate commitments, Demand-Supply dynamics and Sustainable development; to create & encourage external linkages for students' future work or research.
Anand Iyer is a Program Manager, Researcher and Academician in Urban Affairs, Land Development, Climate Action and Architecture. He has worked for Central & State Government, Private Sector Infrastructure and has been Academic Coordinator & Professor. Anand Iyer was till recently, Chief Project Manager at the National Institute of Urban Affairs, New Delhi, where he helped develop the Government of India's first ClimateSmart Cities Assessment Framework for the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, and has led Knowledge Capture projects for Climate Action in different cities.
