Anchor Institute for implementing Pilot on Formulation of Local area Plan (LAP) and Town Planning Scheme (TPS)

The "Pilot on Formulation of Local area Plan (LAP) and Town Planning Scheme (TPS)" in selected 25 cities was launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs under AMRUT in July 2018.

In order to provide support to the States/cities regarding State-specific legal and regulatory framework and technical support for implementing sub-scheme in selected cities, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has empanelled three Anchor Institutes.

CEPT University has been empanelled as the Anchor Institute for implementing Pilot on Formulation of Local area Plan (LAP) and Town Planning Scheme (TPS)  by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The cities selected under the sub-scheme may avail the services of  Anchor Institutes for implementation of the sub-scheme in the respective cities. The list of cities that fall under CEPT University as an Anchor Institute are: Amritsar, Bhubaneshwar, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Indore, Jaipur, Patna, Rajkot, Ranchi and Varanasi.
