CARBSE and Bureau of Energy Efficiency conducted national program on Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC)

To commemorate the 75th year of India’s independence, as part of Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power in collaboration with Centre for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE) at CRDF, CEPT University, conducted three day National Program on Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) 2017.

This training program was aimed to provide refresher training on ECBC 2017 and its updated versions to 122 ECBC Master Trainers recognised by BEE.

The training includes topics such as ECBC Introduction & Compliance Approaches, Building Envelope, Comfort Systems and Controls, Lighting and Controls, Electrical and Renewable Energy Systems, Simulation Basics, Output Analysis, Compliance Check and Case studies. The training was organised from 21st – 23rd July 2021. Dr Rajan Rawal, Dr Yash Shukla, Dr Minu Agarwal and Anmol Mathur delivered the content.
