CWAS enhancing urban environment in Satara

CWAS, in partnership with HT Parekh Foundation, has supported the cities of Kolhapur and Satara in Maharashtra in implementing Faecal Sludge and Septage Management plans.  The second phase of this work focuses on enhancing investments made towards existing infrastructure at the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant in Satara with the introduction of efficient dewatering units, Net zero Energy infrastructure, carbon sequestration through urban forest and landscaping, and a facility centre for sanitation workers.
