CoE-UT, CRDF Supports E-Bus Route Planning in Bhavnagar under PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme
CoE-UT, CRDF is providing technical support to the Gujarat Urban Development Mission Department, Government of Gujarat, to implement the PM e-Bus Sewa Scheme in six cities in Gujarat. It involves coordination with the six cities, assisting in proposal formulation for central assistance, supporting implementation and monitoring, and conducting capacity-building activities.
A stakeholder meeting was held at the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation Office on 28 January 2025, where the CRDF team presented the planned e-bus routes in Bhavnagar to the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chairman of the Standing Committee, Leader of the Ruling Party, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Office Bearers, and Corporation. Given the city's proactiveness and enthusiasm, Bhavnagar can become the next success story for e-bus operations in the small/ medium scale category.
