CWAS' Report: Assessment of Gender Related Interventions in CWIS Programme and Sanitation Service Delivery at Wai, Maharashtra

CWAS in partnership with PRIA (Society for Participatory Research In Asia) has prepared a report Assessment of Gender Related Interventions in CWIS Programme and Sanitation Service Delivery at Wai, Maharashtra to analyse the current sanitation service delivery in Wai from a gender perspective. The assessment of sanitation service delivery of Wai Municipal Council was done using an ‘ecosystem approach’ for analysing the service delivery elements. The indicators developed under the assessment framework focus on understanding the status of gender inclusion in sanitation service delivery in Wai. A participatory process allowed participants gain an insight into the situation, its causes and enablers.
