Applied Geoinformatics for Society and Environment

The 6th Conference of AGSE (Applied Geoinformatics for Society and Environment) was hosted at CEPT University in Ahmedabad, India from 16th to 19th December 2013. This joint initiative between German and Indian academia focused on the theme of "Geospatial Momentum for Society and Environment". AGSE conferences serve as an interdisciplinary and international platform for sharing knowledge and expertise in the field of geoinformatics, with a specific emphasis on its practical applications. AGSE 2013 provided a global forum for researchers, scientists, professionals, and industry representatives to exchange ideas and showcase their contributions to the advancement of technology and its applications. The conference featured technical sessions, workshops, and an exhibition, and more than 50 papers were published in ISPRS.
