Participants of the course ‘Modern Architecture Conservation in India – 2025’, jointly conducted by Getty, INTACH Heritage Academy and CEPT University, got the opportunity of hands-on learning about concrete conservation techniques at CEPT Conservation Laboratory. These sessions were led by Nigar Shaikh, Program Lead for Material Characterization at Center for Heritage Conservation, CRDF and Adjunct Assistant Professor at CEPT University. These technical sessions added to the site visits and theoretical sessions by a range of experts.

A display of books which contribute to the knowledge on modern architecture, material conservation, concrete, heritage, conservation, Indian settlements, documentation and related topics, published by the three institutions organizing the training was held on the closing day.
