CAG to host webinars with DST official  on Gender Mainstreaming 

The Center for Applied Geomatics (CAG)  organized a meeting for the project entitled “Assessment of Government of India’s Gender Mainstreaming Programs for Women in Science’' initiated by DST. The meeting was attended  by 13 Regional Principal Investigators across the country with the agenda to review and discuss the progress and challenges faced in data collection. Considering the new work-from-home reality, Anjana Vyas, National Principal Investigator, proposed conducting the webinar with the DST officials and successful women beneficiaries of the respective schemes. The webinar will attract, motivate, and create awareness among a large number of young girls/women towards STEM. It is expected to  add value to various government initiatives for women in science.
