About the Center

The Center for Research on Architecture and urbanism is set up with a vision to become a place of research excellence and serve as a reliable and reputed knowledge repository. Through concrete research projects, publishing, and exhibitions, it aims to enrich the discourse and practice of architecture and urban development. It also mentors young researchers by making them partners in the research project.

Research Associate (RA)

Research Associate will assist the center in formulating research projects. The RA will also conduct research in the areas of architectural and urban history, education, and practice. The research activities would include the undertaking of archival studies, conducting interviews, organising conferences, help with the production of podcasts and writing reports, grant applications, and presenting them to potential funders

Eligibility

• Post-graduate degree either in architecture or planning or urban design or social sciences
• Competency to conduct research
• Prior research experience would be helpful
• Skills to build networks, and abilities to independently present proposals to different agencies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent written skills
• Proactive and willingness to independently manage projects
