Center for Heritage Conservation (CHC) organised the Young Heritage Explorers Program in collaboration with The Hive on 19th, 26th June and 3rd July for school students (8-14 years). The first workshop - Waterworks - involved exploring how ancestors got water. Children also visited Adalaj and Ambapur stepwell. The second workshop ‘Map-e-matics’ exposed students to how the city of Ahmedabad has grown over the years from centuries. The third workshop ‘fortified’ had a walk exploring the fortification walls and gates of Ahmedabad old city. Every participant was provided with exclusively designed kits from CHC which included puzzles, young heritage explorers’ notebook, play cards etc.
