CHC members in International forums

CHC Team members Nigar Shaikh and Dr. Jigna Desai presented their work at International Forums. 

Nigar Shaikh (Program Lead - Material Carectorisation, CHC) was selected as one of the Young Professional Participants at the UNESCO World Heritage Young Professionals Fora 2023. The Fora was conducted in Riyadh from 3rd to 12th September. She shared her case on climate change and its impact on the historic city of Ahmedabad.

Professor Jigna Desai (Centre Head, CHC) shared a presentation prepared with Mrudula Mane and Jayashree Bardhan on the Ethics of Digital Documentation in an Indian Context at the International Council for Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) General Assembly and Scientific Symposium at Sydney, held between 31st August and 9th September. The presentation was a part of the panel curated by the International Scientific Committee for Documentation of Historic Sites (CIPA). Both these presentations were based on research done at the Center and focused on the most current concerns of the discourses of heritage conservation.
