CoE-UT conducts electric auto workshop in Mehsana as part of UK-PACT project

The Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT) with multiple stakeholders, including the District Collectorate, organized ‘Draft Strategy and Action Plan Workshop.’  The workshop held in Mehsana facilitated knowledge sharing on availing benefits (subsidies) on the purchase of electric autos. Auto drivers owning electric autos shared their experience of shifting from CNG to electric. The drivers and the stakeholders discussed charging infrastructure and the Municipal Corporation's plans to establish in busy areas. The workshop was part of the UK PACT funded - Electrification Strategy and Action Plan project - that will electrify public transport in Mehsana and Ahmedabad.
