CoE-UT delivered GIZ supported MoHUA Programme

The Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT) conducted the Executive Programme in Sustainable Transport, which started on 22nd February 2021.  It was a 6-day national capacity building initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).  CoE-UT partnered with Transformation on Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) and Institute of Urban Transport (IUT) to execute it.  

Joined by eminent speakers from the transport sector, it offered discussions and hands-on training on sustainable urban mobility.  During a workshop, participants audited their neighborhoods to assess safety, walkability, and cycling conditions. They were introduced to data sets, tools, operations, planning, and gender in urban transport.  There will be a 5-day cross-learning workshop in Germany in May 2021.
