CoE-UT participates in webinar on decarbonizing transport by CSE

Shivanand Swamy, Executive Director, CoE-UT was invited for a webinar 'Decarbonizing transport: Beyond cars and internal combustion engines' hosted by CSE on 17th December 2020. His presentation focused on how India can scale-up strategies to decarbonise transport and the role of urban planning, economic progress, and environment sustainability. He also spoke on the burdened urban public transportation systems and compared systems of developing and developed countries. What it takes to decarbonise transport at a scale and speed: Lessons from current experience with transportation policies and ways to bridge the implementation gap, are some of the key highlights of his presentation.
