The Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT) at CRDF has an ongoing project on ‘Strategy and Action Plan for Electrification of Public Transport and Intermediate Public Transport in Indian Cities.'  The project is selected for funding under the UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) Green Recovery Challenge Fund.  The project covers Ahmedabad and Mehsana in Gujarat as case cities.  It’s supported by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the District Collectorate, Mehsana.  The Center is proud to partner with the University of Leeds, Brunel University and GERMI (Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute) to deliver this project.
