The Center for Urban Planning and Policy (CUPP) and GIZ conducted an online roundtable titled ‘Prioritising Spatial Inclusion and Creation of Affordable Housing through Inclusionary Zoning in Indian Cities’ on 30th April 2021.  International speakers from Brazil, South Africa and United Kingdom along with Indian researchers and practitioners shared global and local practices of planning, policy design and implementation of Inclusionary Zoning.  The panellists also discussed the present barriers and opportunities for spatial inclusion and developing affordable housing through Inclusionary Zoning.  As part of hosting online events under GIZ grant project on ‘Sustainable Urban Development - Smart Cities (SUD-SC)’, an online roundtable on ‘Mainstreaming Sustainable Urban Infrastructure’ theme was organized by CUPP on 3rd March to share global and local best practices of planning and implementing nature-based solutions.  Online thematic roundtables on 'Participatory Urban Governance' and 'Integrated Urban Development' will be organised in June 2021.
