CWAS prepares compendium of Urban Local Bodies response to COVID-19

Urban local bodies (ULBs) in India are at the forefront in responding to the COVID-19 crisis. City officials have been working day and night to ensure that all municipal services are provided as before. C-WAS has supported the Government of Maharasthra in compiling good practices followed by ULBs focused on 1) containment strategies, 2) safety and protection of sanitation workers and vulnerable groups, and 3) ensuring safe waste collection and management from quarantined households.
