CWAS presents its experience and learnings in a webinar

CWAS presented its experience from Maharashtra in a webinar on Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM) in rural and peri-urban India.  The webinar was organized by Water for People and IRC, the Netherlands.  Dhruv Bhavsar of CWAS presented lessons in successful FSSM from Wai and Sinnar cities.  He also discussed the government’s cost-effective technology approach for co-treatment and independent Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTP).  It was appreciated in the context of Phase II of the Swachh Bharat Mission.  Phase II focuses on ODF+, sustainability, and solid and liquid waste management.
