CWAS shares insights from PAS project at the 'Demystifying Urban Ranking Indexes' webinar

A workshop and a health camp were organized for all sanitation workers at the Wai Municipal Council (WMC) by CWAS and WMC.  The aim of this workshop was to sensitize sanitation workers in Wai, Maharashtra towards the occupational hazards and importance of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working.  The workshop sessions were conducted by Ms Smita Singh, a professional trainer from the Kam Foundation and Dr. Priya Jagtap, a practising doctor from Wai.  In addition to this, a medical check-up was arranged for all the workers.  Team members of CWAS also interacted with the sanitation workers through group discussions and interactive games.
