Darshana Rawal receives honour by Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG)

Darshana Rawal, Director, Projects and Technical, Center for Applied Geomatics (CAG) at CRDF and a visiting faculty with Faculty of Technology, CEPT University has been conferred with “President’s Appreciation Medal for Contribution to the Society – 2020” by Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG) on December 18, 2020. It was given to her for her significance contributions towards popularisation of Geomatics activities as an office bearer of Indian Society of Geomatics, Ahmedabad Chapter. She is elected twice as a Member of an Executive Council of ISG. She has contributed while organising GIS Days, Symposium and Conferences and adding more Life Members to the Society. The medal was given to Ms. Darshana during an inaugural function of the ISRSNS-2020 on the theme ‘Remote Sensing for Environment Monitoring & Climate Change Assessment: Opportunities and Challenges’. This award consists of Citation, Medal and a Cash Prize.
