Dr. Meera Mehta featured by CNBC-TV18 on The Changemakers

Dr. Meera Mehta spoke in The Changemakers episode on HT Parekh Foundation.  The Center for Water and Sanitation (CWAS) is a partner in the Kolhapur-based project of the foundation.  “It is essential we achieve access to toilets and collection and treatment of faecal sludge is done properly in cities.  HT Parekh Foundation is supporting us in providing support to Kolhapur Municipal Corporation.  We want to introduce scheduled desludging which will improve the overall environment there," Dr. Mehta said.  Together, they aim to achieve the Target 6.2 – Sanitation and Hygiene set by the United Nations.
