Dr. Yash Shukla serves as Team Lead for ADB Program on cooling systems

Dr. Yash Shukla, Executive Director, CARBSE is serving as a team lead of the Technical Assistance (TA) program by Asian Development Bank (ADB).  The program assesses energy efficiency; virus transmission risks of centralized air-conditioning systems; make recommendations, and pilot the operation of energy-efficient and disease-resilient systems.  ADB program launched an innovation challenge where applicants will get a chance to demonstrate their technology innovation with up to $295,000 seed funding.  The TA program complements ADB’s assistance program to help developing member countries in managing the pandemic and climate change mitigation programs.
